I couldn't resist this - my best photo from my trip to Roma.
I pray I will be able to take forget me not up on her offer to show me Italy, but it will be hard to top my last experience there!

Yes, very blessed.
Some day I will tell the story of how this picture came to be - a convolution of events only God could arrange!

This is a Holy Picture, kathryntherese. All I can see is holiness. How very beautiful.

Oh my, how many times did I look at that photo and only now realize that you received on the tongue. There seems a significance there that is hard to put away, no? I received Him on the tongue from the Bishop in St. Colman's Cathedral (while kneeling at the altar rail with all others!), and for pre-Vat II RC me, it did not seem a novelty, but I just realized that for many American Catholics of newer generations, it probably does.

I was just re-reading your "Between Two Mountains" (pg. 77), "But heart-proof of love is not what glows but bleeds.." very true. There is really nothing we can do for Him, but we can do plenty for His.
