kathryntherese, I'm having a riot too; I just wish I had more time to read everyones' blogs and comments. And just to let you know, my level of self-mortification is certainly nowhere near where it should be. The only reason I declined the cheesecake was because no one had mentioned strawberries on it, so I was glad to see Abbot Joseph's comment about the raspberries. It fills me with hope.
Welcome, Abbot Joseph. Perhaps your presence here will keep us in line. We would all welcome that. You have already brought hope to Gabrielle ;-) I pray you stay with us, or at least check in occasionally and share your wisdom.
Gabrielle, consider the strawberries served. Alongside the raspberries. And the tiramisu for the non-cheesecake eaters. Meanwhile, to the heart of the matter.
Oy, strawberries happen to be the one thing I am deathly allergic to (unless one counts submarine sailors). But gosh, FMN, you make them sound as if they're from the Tree of Life itself!! To heck with the cheesecake and tiramisu -- let's keep it to ale and fruit. Okay, fruit. Okay, don't hurt me -- the cheesecake and tiramisu are back IN.
